SMS consent collection

Aldea Services collects SMS consent through website forms and, when applicable, documented verbal or in-person consent. Providing a telephone number does not enroll a user in SMS messaging.

Website users may enter a phone number and are presented with notice that SMS consent is optional. The complete SMS disclosure appears immediately adjacent to a separate, unchecked SMS consent checkbox. The user must affirmatively check the SMS checkbox and submit the form before any opt-in is recorded.

Users who do not check the SMS checkbox are not enrolled in SMS messaging. No keyword opt-in is used for this campaign.

Approved SMS disclosure

By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring SMS messages from Aldea Services at the number provided regarding appointment reminders, service status updates, account notices, notifications that a secure document request is available through the Aldea Services client portal, and follow-up about my request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

Permitted message purpose

Messages may include appointment reminders, service status updates, account notices, notifications that a secure document request is available through the Aldea Services client portal, and requested service follow-up.

SMS messages must not request that clients reply with Social Security numbers, ITINs, W-2s, tax documents, bank information, or other sensitive documents.

Opt-out and assistance

Reply STOP to opt out of further messaging. Reply HELP to request assistance. STOP and HELP keyword handling is managed through Nextiva, and Aldea Services honors opt-outs before campaigns.

Privacy and terms restrictions

Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Aldea Services may provide this information to service providers, such as Nextiva, solely to operate the messaging program and subject to confidentiality and use restrictions.
